THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE

Cinemavixion Review

René Cardona Jr.'s "The Bermuda Triangle" from 1978 plunges viewers into the chilling mystery of the infamous maritime anomaly. While the film may not boast the visual spectacle of modern sci-fi horror, it crafts an atmosphere of mounting dread as a group on a Caribbean scuba trip ventures into the unknown. The narrative effectively builds suspense, drawing parallels to the unsettling nature of unexplained disappearances. Despite its modest budget, the film's commitment to its premise, coupled with the inherent allure of its subject matter, offers a compelling, albeit dated, exploration of the terror that lurks where science meets the supernatural. Fans of classic genre films will find a curious, atmospheric entry here, hinting at the dread that the Bermuda Triangle has long inspired.
