TARGET OF OPPORTUNITY

Cinemavixion Review

Danny Lerner's 2005 action-drama "Target of Opportunity" plunges viewers into a complex web of espionage and fractured loyalties. The film centers on the strained friendship between two former CIA operatives, Jim Jacobs and Nick Carlton, whose paths diverge dramatically when Nick is imprisoned and accused of treason. The narrative, enriched by the external data's detailed plot synopsis, skillfully navigates themes of betrayal, duty, and the ambiguous nature of truth in the shadowy world of intelligence. Dean Cochran and Todd Jensen deliver performances that anchor the film's emotional core, portraying the deep-seated bond tested by extreme circumstances. While the film may not have garnered major accolades, its gritty portrayal of a high-stakes rescue mission and the moral quandaries faced by its protagonists offer a compelling watch for fans of the genre.
