SWIMSUIT

Cinemavixion Review

Embarking on a journey into the competitive world of swimwear modeling, 'Swimsuit' offers a glimpse into the personal lives behind the glamorous facade. The narrative follows Mrs. Allison's quest, through her employees Brian and Willard, to discover new talent for the Saltare Swimsuit company. While the premise centers on the rigorous photo shoots and intense workouts, the film delves into the hopes, dreams, and personal struggles of the aspiring models. The 1989 comedy-romance, directed by Chris Thomson, features William Katt and Catherine Oxenberg, exploring the human element within an industry often perceived as superficial. It's a charming, albeit light, exploration of ambition and the pursuit of recognition.
