While "Super Cyclone" aims for high-stakes disaster thrills, its execution leaves much to be desired. Directed by Liz Adams and released in 2012, the film presents a familiar premise: a catastrophic storm threatens the American west coast, and it falls upon a meteorologist and a petroleum engineer to avert disaster.
