AIR COLLISION

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Air Collision,' director Liz Adams crafts a high-stakes thriller that pits humanity against the unforgiving forces of nature and technological failure. The premise is chillingly plausible: a severe solar storm disrupts the global air traffic control network, leaving two aircraft, including the President's Air Force One, on an unavoidable collision course over the American heartland. Adams, who also penned the script, navigates the escalating tension with a focus on the desperate efforts to avert disaster. Reginald VelJohnson and Jordan Ladd lead the cast, bringing gravitas to their roles as individuals caught in the maelstrom. While the film may not boast the blockbuster budget of some disaster epics, it effectively leverages its concept to deliver a tense, edge-of-your-seat experience. Its modest scale allows for a more intimate focus on the human drama unfolding against a backdrop of impending catastrophe, making 'Air Collision' a compelling watch for fans of suspenseful aviation thrillers.
