In 'Strawberry Smell', director Seda Elibol crafts a charming romantic comedy centered on the unlikely union of Aslı and Burak. Aslı, a hardworking and sincere young woman, finds her life upended when a chance encounter with the arrogant and rebellious Burak leads to her losing her job. Fate, however, has other plans. A series of comical mishaps places them on the same flight to Bodrum, where they are forced into proximity despite their clashing personalities. Aslı is contemplating a new path with her friend Gonca, while Burak is sent by his father to work at a new hotel. Their initial animosity on the flight belies a budding connection, as fate orchestrates their paths to cross once more in the scenic coastal town.
