STAY OUT STAY ALIVE

Cinemavixion Review

Dean Yurke's "Stay Out Stay Alive" plunges viewers into the dark heart of the redwood forest, where five young hikers unearth a cursed goldmine and, with it, their own base desires. The film masterfully navigates the treacherous terrain between survival and avarice, posing a chilling question: how much is too much when unimaginable wealth is within reach? As an earthquake traps one of their own, the group faces a moral precipice, their bonds fracturing under the weight of greed. The narrative skillfully layers escalating conflict with spectral horror, hinting at a past tragedy that fuels the present terror. Bolstered by its compelling premise and the chilling exploration of human nature's darker impulses, "Stay Out Stay Alive" offers a potent, suspenseful descent into madness, leaving audiences to ponder the true cost of fortune.
