This compelling short documentary, 'Sorry I Shot You,' offers a profound and unflinching look at remorse and reconciliation. Following Stana, an East London gangster and rapper, the film chronicles his journey to find the police officer he shot twelve years prior. Having served an eight-year prison sentence, Stana's quest is not for absolution, but a genuine expression of sorrow. The narrative is raw and emotionally charged, delving into the complexities of a life shaped by violence and the desire for amends. The director, Nicole Stanbury, crafts an intimate portrait of a man confronting his past, anchored by a powerful performance from Dean Stanbury. With an IMDb rating of 9.4, this film is a stark reminder of the lasting impact of actions and the human capacity for change.
