Cinemavixion Review

This compelling narrative delves into the profound journey of Dean Stanbury, a former grime rapper and East London gangster whose life took a drastic turn in 2006. After serving eight years for shooting a police officer, Dean emerges from prison a transformed individual, driven by an overwhelming desire to seek atonement. The film intricately explores his quest to locate the officer he wounded, not for absolution, but to personally convey his deep remorse and ensure the man's well-being. As Dean navigates this challenging path, he is compelled to confront the formative experiences and choices that shaped his past, examining the roots of his violent actions. The story poignantly questions the possibility of redemption and the enduring impact of one's deeds, offering a raw and introspective look at personal change and the search for peace.
