SLEEP. WALK. KILL.

Cinemavixion Review

"SLEEP. WALK. KILL." plunges viewers into a chillingly familiar suburban nightmare where the mundane transforms into the monstrous. The premise, as described, is unsettlingly simple yet ripe for horror: residents of a tranquil town find themselves battling their own loved ones, who have become nocturnal killers in a somnambulistic state. The narrative hinges on the desperate struggle for survival once the initial wave of terror subsides, forcing the remaining inhabitants to unite against an enemy that sleeps beside them. This intriguing setup promises a blend of psychological dread and visceral horror, exploring themes of trust, community, and the thin veil separating peace from pandemonium. While the local data provides a concise yet effective summary, the external data reveals it to be a 2022 horror-comedy directed by Justin Miller, featuring a cast including Ellen Boscov and Darryl Charles. With a runtime of 86 minutes and a reported IMDb rating of 6.0, the film appears to lean into its darkly comedic potential while delivering on the horror front. "SLEEP. WALK. KILL." is a compelling exploration of how quickly safety can unravel, offering a fresh take on the zombie-adjacent trope by embedding the threat within the very fabric of the community.
