SIDE BY SIDE

Cinemavixion Review

In the heartwarming 1988 comedy "Side by Side," director Jack Bender crafts a charming narrative around an unconventional dream pursued by three seasoned friends. Anchored by the legendary talents of Milton Berle, Sid Caesar, and Danny Thomas, the film explores the vibrant spirit of retirement and the enduring power of friendship. The plot follows the trio as they, recently retired and unwilling to fade into the background, embark on a bold venture: launching a clothing line tailored specifically for senior citizens. Their journey, fueled by an unyielding determination and a dash of comedic flair, is a testament to the idea that age is merely a number and that second chances are always within reach. "Side by Side" resonates as a feel-good celebration of staying young at heart and embracing life's next chapter with gusto.
