SOMETHING SO RIGHT

Cinemavixion Review

Lou Antonio's "Something So Right" offers a poignant exploration of unconventional family bonds, anchored by a compelling performance from Ricky Schroder as the rebellious Joey. Struggling with the absence of a father figure, Joey's volatile behavior is met with a gentle, albeit initially awkward, mentorship from Arnie, portrayed with endearing warmth. The film masterfully navigates the complexities of connection, demonstrating how support and understanding can forge deep, meaningful relationships. Schroder captures the raw vulnerability of a troubled youth, while his counterpart embodies the quiet strength of someone willing to step into a challenging role. "Something So Right" is a heartwarming testament to the idea that family is not solely defined by blood, but by the love and commitment we choose to share, making it a quietly resonant cinematic experience.
