SHE WAS WRONGFULLY IMPRISONED IN KENYA | FROM DREAM TO NIGHTMARE | PARADISE LOST

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges viewers into the harrowing true story of Nikki Roberts, whose ambitious venture to establish a nightclub in Kenya devolved into a terrifying ordeal. The narrative chronicles a descent from optimistic aspiration to a nightmarish reality, marked by betrayal, alleged voodoo attacks, and a critical medical emergency during a cesarean section. The subsequent imprisonment on fabricated charges paints a grim picture of vulnerability and injustice. The film serves as a stark reminder of the perils that can accompany entrepreneurial dreams in unfamiliar territories, exploring themes of resilience against overwhelming adversity and the fight for survival when one's freedom and well-being are unjustly compromised.
