THE HORRIFIC RUSSELL MURDERS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, 'The Horrific Russell Murders', plunges into the chilling events of 1996 in Kent, England. It recounts the brutal hammer attack that claimed the lives of Lin Russell and her young daughter Megan, leaving eldest daughter Josie to miraculously survive. The narrative powerfully conveys the shock and horror of this unprovoked assault on three females walking home. While the film delves into the violence, it also serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerability that can exist even in the perceived safety of the English countryside. The retelling of the events and the focus on the impact on the family offer a somber reflection on a case that deeply affected the nation.
