RUNNING FOREVER

Cinemavixion Review

"Running Forever" delves into the profound grief and fractured relationships that can emerge in the wake of loss. Following the death of the mother, the narrative centers on a daughter and her father, whose bond is tested as they navigate their shared sorrow. The film suggests that healing is not a solitary journey, but one fostered through connection—with each other, with a significant equine presence, and with the broader community. The title itself hints at a thematic exploration of confronting pain rather than evading it, suggesting that true resolution comes from standing still and processing, rather than perpetual flight. The performances, particularly from Martin Kove, Jaimie Steck, and Mike Mayhall, anchor the emotional core of this touching drama, offering a poignant look at resilience and the enduring power of familial love.
