ROOM 105

Cinemavixion Review

Doug Fox's "Room 105" unfolds as a taut thriller set against the desolate backdrop of a run-down motel. The narrative centers on Mike, a commercial real estate broker whose seemingly routine visit masks a deeper, more valuable quest. He encounters Sam, the motel's owner, a young woman whose world is tightly controlled by her ex-Special Forces brother. As their paths intertwine, Sam becomes an unexpected and perilous distraction for Mike, escalating their plans and narrowing their world. The film culminates in a shattering moment of violence that irrevocably alters their futures, exposing the true motives behind Mike's arrival and Sam's actions. While the external data lists Patrick Mulvihill as a co-director, the core creative vision and plot remain consistent with the local data, presenting a compelling story of hidden agendas and dangerous liaisons.
