In "Robin Hood II: The Invincible Knight" (1991), director Riccardo Corradi delivers a spirited animated adventure that, despite its modest reception, offers a charming take on the legendary outlaw. The plot centers on a daring rescue mission initiated by the scheming Baron Alwyn, who kidnaps Marian to claim a powerful gold crucifix. The artifact, however, has already been entrusted to Winifred, Little John's beloved, setting Robin and his loyal band on a quest to outwit the baron, protect their loved ones, and unravel the relic's ancient secrets. While the film may not boast the grandiosity of its predecessors, its engaging narrative and classic Robin Hood themes provide a satisfying watch for fans of animated fairy tales and heroic escapades.
