RETURN OF THE SALEM WITCH

Cinemavixion Review

Jack E. Bell's 'Return of the Salem Witch' plunges viewers into a chilling scenario where a group of six girls and two teachers find themselves isolated in their boarding school by severe weather. What begins as a seemingly innocent diversion—summoning Bridget Bishop, a figure from the notorious Salem Witch Trials, via an ancient book discovered in a teacher's office—swiftly devolves into a harrowing ordeal. The film masterfully builds suspense as demonic possession takes hold, turning the girls against one another in a gruesome fight for survival. With a runtime of 82 minutes, the narrative offers a compact yet intense exploration of fear, superstition, and the terrifying consequences of meddling with the unknown. While the film may not boast widespread critical acclaim or box office figures, it delivers a compelling horror experience, particularly for fans of supernatural thrillers and possession narratives.
