RESOLUTION SONG

Cinemavixion Review

Antonio James's "Resolution Song" (2018) is a poignant drama that delves into the arduous journey of a family fractured by tragedy. The narrative centers on a young man's initiative to mend the broken bonds within his family, seeking solace and reconciliation through the universally understood language of music. This film posits music not merely as entertainment, but as a potent therapeutic force capable of navigating and healing deep emotional wounds. While the film may not have garnered widespread accolades or box office success, its intimate exploration of familial healing and the redemptive power of art offers a touching and resonant experience for audiences prepared to engage with its emotional core. The performances, particularly from Lester Speight and Ella Joyce, lend significant weight to the characters' struggles and their tentative steps toward rebuilding trust.
