NOBODY DIES

Cinemavixion Review

Quentin Krog's "Nobody Dies" is a South African action-comedy that plunges viewers into the hilariously unfortunate life of Daniel Niemand. Portrayed by Bennie Fourie, Niemand begins as a man so unremarkable that even flies avoid him. His mundane existence takes a sharp, chaotic turn when his wife leaves him for their marriage counselor, inadvertently drawing him into a high-stakes police operation against a local crime syndicate. The film, released in 2018 and featuring Marlee van der Merwe and James Borthwick, earned a nomination for its efforts. While the IMDb rating suggests a mixed reception at 4.5/10, the premise promises a wild ride through a 'worst week ever' scenario, blending dark humor with escalating action in a distinctly South African flavor.
