MY SWEET KILLER

Cinemavixion Review

"My Sweet Killer" is a chilling psychological thriller from 1987 that plunges into the fractured mind of Charlie Cavenaugh. Formerly a mental patient, Charlie yearns for peace, but his tenuous grip on reality is shattered by the lingering presence of Pasqua, a former tenant whose suicide haunts his apartment. As Charlie's world unravels, tormented by visions and a hostile environment, his internal struggles erupt into outward violence against intrusive drug dealers. The film masterfully explores the razor's edge between sanity and madness, portraying the devastating consequences when that line is irrevocably crossed. With a compelling performance and a descent into darkness, "My Sweet Killer" offers a tense and unsettling cinematic experience that questions the very nature of perception and control.
