MURDER ON THE 13TH FLOOR

Cinemavixion Review

Hanelle M. Culpepper's 'Murder on the 13th Floor' plunges viewers into a tense domestic thriller centered on betrayal and desperation. The narrative, driven by a neglectful mother's escalating paranoia, unfolds with a palpable sense of unease. Tessa Thompson delivers a compelling performance, navigating the complex emotional landscape of a woman pushed to her limits by infidelity and suspicion. The film masterfully builds suspense, exploring the dark undercurrents of relationships and the extreme measures one might take when trust erodes. While the plotline offers a familiar premise, the execution, particularly Thompson's nuanced portrayal, elevates it into a captivating examination of jealousy and consequence. It's a taut, engaging piece that keeps audiences guessing until the very end.
