ONE WINTER NIGHT

Cinemavixion Review

In "One Winter Night," director Ryan Callaway crafts a chilling narrative that delves into the anxieties of displacement and supernatural dread. The film follows an Orthodox Jewish mother and her daughters as they relocate to a secluded town, only to find themselves ensnared by sinister forces indigenous to the area. The performances by Breanna Engle, Brittini Schreiber, and Ariella Mossey anchor the story with palpable vulnerability, drawing viewers into the characters' escalating fear. While the film garnered 2 wins, its reception on IMDb with a 3.8 rating suggests a divisive, though perhaps compelling, viewing experience. "One Winter Night" is a testament to atmospheric horror, exploring themes of faith and fear in isolation, making it a noteworthy, albeit unsettling, addition to the genre.
