MUM, I'M A MUSLIM

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the compelling reasons behind the conversion of young British women to Islam. Through the stories of Amena, a Sheffield resident married to a Yemeni man with two sons, and Amy, a Welsh student navigating the complexities of her recent conversion and its impact on her family, the film offers an intimate look at the personal journeys and motivations driving these significant life changes. It explores the appeal of the Muslim faith and the challenges, such as familial acceptance, that often accompany such a profound spiritual and lifestyle shift.
