MST3K 105: THE CORPSE VANISHES

Cinemavixion Review

Mystery Science Theater 3000's foray into the 1942 B-movie "The Corpse Vanishes" offers a quintessential example of the show's enduring charm. Presented as "Experiment 105," this installment dives headfirst into a delightfully schlocky tale, ripe for the show's signature riffing. The original film, a low-budget noir-tinged thriller, provides ample material for Joel, Mike, and the bots to dissect with their unique brand of wit. Beyond the cinematic commentary, the episode also features the Satellite of Love crew engaging in a lighthearted game of tag, adding a layer of familiar, comforting character interaction. It's a perfect blend of cinematic mockery and endearing silliness, showcasing MST3K's talent for transforming forgotten films into comedic gold for a new generation of fans.
