MST3K: HOBGOBLINS

Cinemavixion Review

While this selection from the Mystery Science Theater 3000 YouTube channel offers a glimpse into the cult phenomenon, the specific film 'Hobgoblins' is presented here primarily through the lens of its riffing. The true artistic merit of the original film, independent of the MST3K commentary, remains elusive in this context. MST3K's unique brand of humor, dissecting and mocking B-movies, is the main draw. Viewers are invited to enjoy the comedic dissection rather than a traditional cinematic experience. It's a testament to the enduring appeal of the show's format, which transforms even the most questionable cinematic endeavors into sources of shared laughter and cult appreciation.
