MORPHMAN (LARVA & INFESTATION)

Cinemavixion Review

This unsettling film plunges viewers into the rural unease of Host, Missouri, where a newcomer veterinarian, Dr. Eli Rudkus, confronts a terrifying biological anomaly. What begins as a routine call to a distressed farmer quickly escalates as Rudkus discovers a bizarre parasite infecting livestock. His investigation uncovers a sinister truth: an experimental genetic cocktail, disguised as animal feed, is the catalyst for a horrifying transformation spreading through both cattle and the town's human population. The narrative masterfully builds suspense, exploring themes of scientific hubris and the vulnerability of isolated communities to unseen threats. While the origins of the contagion remain shrouded in mystery, the film effectively portrays the creeping dread and the desperate fight for survival against an insidious, evolving menace.
