In the war-torn twilight of the 14th century, a band of five weary soldiers—survivors of countless brutal campaigns—finally begins the long trek home. With the taste of peace on their lips, they look forward to leaving the battlefield behind. But the world they are returning to is not the one they left, and their journey is dangerously interrupted by an unforeseen and sinister turn of events.
