KINGS OF KALLSTADT

Cinemavixion Review

Simone Wendel's "Kings of Kallstadt" is a fascinating documentary that delves into the surprising origins of two American titans: Donald Trump and the Heinz family, the ketchup dynasty. The film posits that their shared ancestry in the unassuming German wine village of Kallstadt might be more than a mere coincidence, suggesting a deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit embedded in the region's heritage. Wendel, herself a native of Kallstadt, embarks on a compelling exploration, weaving together historical context, personal anecdotes, and a touch of humor to uncover the potential genetic threads that link these disparate figures. While the film may not offer definitive proof, its engaging narrative and unique premise make for an insightful and entertaining watch, prompting viewers to ponder the invisible connections that shape destinies across continents.
