KILL THE WICKED!

Cinemavixion Review

Tanio Boccia's "Kill the Wicked!" plunges viewers into a desolate ghost town, where the line between salvation and damnation blurs. The narrative follows Benny Hudson, a drifter with a seemingly good heart, whose path intersects with Jenny, a woman stranded and vulnerable. Their accidental intrusion into a hidden gang's hideout transforms a chance encounter into a desperate fight for survival. The film masterfully builds suspense, trapping its protagonists in an increasingly claustrophobic and violent environment. While the premise hints at a classic Western showdown, the execution leans into a grittier, more brutal depiction of lawlessness and desperation. It's a stark portrayal of how quickly good intentions can lead to perilous circumstances, exploring themes of survival and the harsh realities faced by those on the fringes of society.
