KIDS BEHIND BARS: HOUSED WITH ADULT PRISONERS, DENIED FAIR TRIALS & SENTENCED TO DEATH

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a stark and unflinching look into the harrowing realities faced by juvenile offenders across the globe. Through unprecedented access, it exposes the brutal conditions within prisons, where children endure torture, sexual abuse by adult inmates, and beatings from guards. The film highlights the systemic failures in due process, revealing instances of individuals held for years without charge, denied fair trials, and even sentenced to death without ever seeing a courtroom. It paints a devastating picture of neglect and systemic injustice, underscoring the forgotten existence of these young lives. The documentary serves as a powerful, albeit disturbing, testament to the urgent need for reform and a critical examination of juvenile justice systems worldwide.
