KATHY MCCORMICK, A MODERN CINDERELLA

Cinemavixion Review

Barbara Eden stars as Kathy, a humble grocery store clerk who finds herself unexpectedly thrust into the glittering world of high society. Through a humorous series of mistaken identities, Kathy attends a charity luncheon where she catches the eye of Grant, a wealthy and charming bachelor. Grant, however, is under the impression that Kathy is a sophisticated stockbroker. This delightful romantic comedy from 1988, reminiscent of feel-good classics like '50 First Dates' and 'Groundhog Day,' offers a charming twist on the timeless Cinderella narrative. It's a lighthearted romp exploring themes of love, deception, and the allure of different social strata, anchored by Eden's endearing performance.
