JOSH KIRBY: TIME WARRIOR! CHAP. 6: LAST BATTLE FOR THE UNIVERSE

Cinemavixion Review

The sixth and final installment of the "Josh Kirby: Time Warrior!" series, "Last Battle for the Universe" (1996), brings its titular hero back to Earth for a climactic confrontation. Directed by Frank Arnold, this sci-fi adventure concludes Josh Kirby's epic journey across time and space. The plot sees Josh facing off against the nefarious Dr. Zoetrope, with the fate of the entire universe hanging in the balance. While the external data provides a slightly different plot synopsis involving mushroom people, the core elements of a final battle and the return to Earth align with the local description. The film, starring Corbin Allred, Barrie Ingham, Charisma Carpenter, Derek Webster, and Jennifer Burns, aims to wrap up its cult following's narrative threads. Despite its low-budget origins and cult status, "Last Battle for the Universe" offers a concluding chapter that, according to IMDb ratings, resonates with a 6.2/10 score, suggesting a satisfying, if perhaps niche, conclusion to the saga.
