JOSEPHINE DOE

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Josephine Doe,' Ryan Michael presents a taut thriller where the seemingly innocent Josephine (played with a captivating duality) becomes the central mystery in Claire's increasingly bleak existence. As Claire grapples with legal troubles, the film masterfully peels back layers of Josephine's identity, revealing a complex character far removed from her initial portrayal. The performances by Erin Cipolletti and Elisabeth J. Bennett anchor the narrative, drawing viewers into a suspenseful exploration of trust and deception. While the film may operate on a smaller scale, its intriguing premise and the unsettling dynamic between its protagonists make it a compelling watch for fans of character-driven psychological dramas.
