JERUZALEM

Cinemavixion Review

This found-footage horror film plunges viewers into a terrifyingly realized biblical apocalypse within the ancient city of Jerusalem. Directed by Doron and Yoav Paz, 'JERUZALEM' masterfully blends modern tourism with ancient prophecy as two American friends find themselves trapped amidst a chaotic eruption of demonic forces. The shaky camera work and immersive setting amplify the sense of dread, making the unfolding chaos feel intensely personal. While the premise leans into familiar apocalyptic tropes, the unique setting and the visceral execution of its horror sequences offer a fresh, albeit harrowing, experience. The film effectively captures a sense of overwhelming dread, transforming the hallowed city into a nightmarish battleground where survival hinges on faith and sheer will.
