I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE

Cinemavixion Review

Robert Lawson Gordon's "I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE" masterfully crafts a descent into psychological terror, drawing chilling parallels to the unsettling family dynamics of "The Taking of Deborah Logan" and the introspective dread of "The Babadook." The film excels in its slow-burn approach, meticulously building a palpable atmosphere of isolation and unease within the confines of a remote, inherited home. Gordon expertly weaves themes of familial guilt, unspoken trauma, and the pervasive fear of an unseen presence. The narrative centers on Tom's discovery of a sister he never knew, a mute and paralyzed figure whose condition becomes the catalyst for an investigation that blurs the lines between mental unraveling and genuine supernatural haunting. With its commitment to creeping dread and haunting imagery, "I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE" is a compelling exploration of the shadows that linger within families and the human psyche.
