JACKKNIFE

Cinemavixion Review

Adam Jack's "JACKKNIFE" plunges viewers into a harrowing narrative where a seemingly innocent afternoon outing transforms into a nightmarish ordeal. The film masterfully explores the devastating ripple effects of a single, tragic event on a young brother and sister. As they grapple with a terrible secret born from a violent encounter with a drifter, the story delves deep into the psychological toll of fear and paranoia. While the film might be a stark exploration of consequence, its tight direction and compelling performances, notably from cast members like Douglas Vermeeren, Thain Wesley, and Dillon Parnell, anchor the unsettling atmosphere. "JACKKNIFE" is a potent reminder of how one moment can irrevocably alter the course of young lives, leaving a lasting impression long after the credits roll.
