JACK FROST

Cinemavixion Review

This 2022 release, 'JACK FROST', plunges viewers into a chilling Yuletide nightmare. The narrative centers on a family ensnared by the malevolent entity known as Jack Frost, forcing them to confront a dark lineage and the generational curse that binds them. The film, directed by Liana Failla and featuring performances from Sarah T. Cohen and Nicola Wright, effectively builds a suspenseful atmosphere, delving into themes of inherited trauma and the inescapable nature of one's past. While the IMDb rating suggests a modest reception, the compelling premise and its exploration of a terrifying folklore-inspired antagonist offer a unique, albeit grim, take on holiday horror. It's a descent into familial secrets where the festive spirit is replaced by a primal fight for survival against an ancient, vengeful force.
