IRELAND’S BLACK WIDOW: CATHERINE NEVIN

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the chilling case of Catherine Nevin, exploring the tragic events that unfolded in 1996. The narrative centers on Nevin and her husband, prominent figures in the Dublin and Wicklow publican and property development scene. The film recounts the night of the attack at their pub, an event that resulted in the death of Tom Nevin and left Catherine Nevin a victim of a violent assault. The documentary aims to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this high-profile case, inviting viewers to piece together the events and the subsequent investigation. It serves as a compelling, albeit grim, examination of a notorious chapter in Irish criminal history.
