HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT: JOHN ERIC ARMSTRONG

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the chilling duality of John Eric Armstrong, a man who concealed his horrific crimes behind the facade of an ordinary life. The narrative unfurls the disturbing reality of his actions in Detroit during 1999 and 2000, highlighting the stark contrast between his public persona as a husband, father, and co-worker, and his secret life as a predator. The film masterfully explores the unsettling notion that such darkness can exist undetected within seemingly normal communities, prompting viewers to question the hidden complexities of human nature and the masks people wear. It serves as a somber reminder of the unseen dangers that can lurk beneath the surface of everyday life.
