INSIDE THE MIND OF THE SUNDERLAND STRANGLER

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the chilling case of Steven Grieveson, infamously known as the 'Sunderland Strangler.' The film meticulously reconstructs the events of the early 1990s, a period marked by the unexplained deaths of three young men in the community. Initially dismissed as tragic accidents, these fatalities left families grappling with a profound lack of closure. The narrative highlights the crucial role of a determined detective and the steadfast support of the victims' families, who refused to accept the status quo. Together, they embarked on a relentless pursuit of truth, exposing a serial killer who had masterfully concealed his identity. It stands as a powerful testament to a community's resilience and their unwavering demand for justice against a killer who believed himself untouchable.
