This documentary plunges viewers into the harrowing depths of a notorious serial killer's psyche, framed through the lens of the detectives who pursued her. The narrative begins with a grim discovery—a body in a ditch—and rapidly escalates into a complex manhunt. The film meticulously details the unfolding investigation, revealing a chilling pattern of violence and deception that extends beyond the initial crime. As the killer evades capture, she escalates her brutality, leaving a trail of additional victims and a deeply unsettling confession: "I killed to see how I would feel." The lead detective's personal account provides a compelling, often poignant, perspective on the psychological toll of such a case, grappling with the elusive 'why' behind the killings.
