INSIDE SAUDI ARABIA: THE FALL OF THE CROWN PRINCE?

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the complex socio-political landscape of Saudi Arabia, particularly in the wake of the Khashoggi incident. It probes the efficacy and sincerity of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's reform agenda, questioning whether the international outcry has eroded support for his vision. By venturing into the conservative South, a region marked by resistance to change and bordering Yemen, the film offers a ground-level perspective on the societal divisions. It contrasts the global perception of Saudi Arabia—defined by wealth, strict religious adherence, and human rights concerns—with the Crown Prince's proclaimed intentions of modernization. Through the voices of its inhabitants, the documentary seeks to ascertain if the promised reforms are genuine or merely superficial gestures, inviting viewers to contemplate the nation's potential for true transformation.
