IN THIS HOUSE, ESCAPE ISN’T PART OF THE SCRIPT | JIM’S ROOM

Cinemavixion Review

This short film, "Jim's Room," plunges viewers into a harrowing scenario where a homeless man finds himself ensnared by a manipulative sadist. The premise, as described, suggests a tense psychological thriller, with the protagonist forced to confront his inner turmoil as a means of survival within the confines of a remote house. The director, Zac King, along with a cast including Michael Masurkevitch, seemingly aims to explore themes of desperation and exploitation, using the offer of employment as a deceptive lure. The film's limited information suggests a focus on claustrophobia and the fight for freedom against a twisted captor, promising a disturbing yet compelling narrative experience.
