HUNTING THE RUSSIAN OLIGARCHS | MYSTERY DEATHS OF KREMLIN’S INNER CIRCLE

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the unsettling phenomenon of mysterious deaths among Russian oligarchs following the invasion of Ukraine. Director Vincent Prado navigates a complex web of financial sanctions, frozen assets, and the immense pressure these wealthy elites face. The film compellingly questions whether these powerful figures can truly influence Vladimir Putin's actions, especially as numerous oligarchs, once close to the Kremlin, have met untimely ends under suspicious circumstances—ranging from poisonings to apparent suicides. Through meticulous investigation, the documentary uncovers the shadowy world of shell companies, illicit property dealings, and sudden disappearances, tracing the narrative from the French Riviera to tragic events in Spain, Russia, and Finland. It offers a stark portrayal of the perilous existence of Putin's inner circle and the severe consequences of losing favor, providing a chilling glimpse into the geopolitical machinations at play.
