HOW THE CATHOLIC CHURCH HID THIS NAZI CRIMINAL FOR 40 YEARS | NAZI HUNTERS | ABSOLUTE CRIME

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary from Absolute Crime delves into the shadowed history of Paul Claude Marie Touvier, a French Nazi collaborator whose actions during World War II in Occupied France cast a long, dark pall. The film meticulously details his involvement in the Holocaust under the Vichy regime, culminating in his unprecedented 1994 conviction for crimes against humanity. It's a stark reminder of the complexities of post-war justice and the enduring impact of collaboration. The narrative skillfully navigates the historical context, shedding light on how such a figure could evade full accountability for an extended period. This is a compelling, albeit grim, exploration of one man's complicity and the eventual, albeit delayed, reckoning with his past.
