HOMEMADE CHRISTMAS

Cinemavixion Review

Adrian Langley's 'Homemade Christmas' (2020) offers a heartwarming, albeit familiar, holiday romance that centers on Megan, an ambitious young woman who turns her knack for holiday assistance into a seasonal career. The film, starring Michelle Argyris and Travis Nelson, explores the classic dilemma of choosing between a fleeting crush and a more stable, genuine connection. While the plot treads well-worn festive ground, the performances lend a genuine charm to the proceedings. Argyris effectively portrays Megan's earnest desire to succeed both professionally and romantically, while Nelson provides a solid counterpoint. The film, which garnered a nomination, is a pleasant, low-stakes diversion, perfect for those seeking a cozy, feel-good cinematic experience during the festive season. It successfully captures the spirit of Christmas while delivering a sweet, uncomplicated love story.
