A MISSED CONNECTION

Cinemavixion Review

In "A Missed Connection," director Damián Romay crafts a charming tale of serendipity and second chances. The narrative follows a photographer whose fleeting encounter with a captivating woman on a train platform blossoms into a poignant, five-year quest for reconnection. The film masterfully builds anticipation as fate, in the form of a shared flight to the same wedding, orchestrates their reunion. Meggan Kaiser and Alex Trumble deliver performances that are both nuanced and deeply felt, capturing the hesitant hope and lingering 'what-ifs' of their characters. The premise, exploring how life's paths can unexpectedly converge, is explored with a gentle touch, making "A Missed Connection" a heartwarming watch that celebrates the enduring power of a single moment.
