HOLY HUSTLE

Cinemavixion Review

In "Holy Hustle," audiences are treated to a blend of crime caper and unlikely spiritual calling. The film, released in 2017, follows two brothers, one a cunning con artist and the other his more upright sibling, who find themselves on the run from dangerous gangsters. Their desperate gambit? To pose as pastors of a struggling church, using the flock as a means to both hide and finance their escape. The premise promises a narrative rich with potential for both humor and moral quandaries, as the brothers navigate the complexities of their deception within a faith community. While details on the film's reception and awards are scarce, its intriguing plot offers a unique take on the 'fish out of water' trope, inviting viewers to explore themes of redemption, faith, and the unexpected places one might find them.
