HOLIDAY HIGH SCHOOL REUNION

Cinemavixion Review

In "Holiday High School Reunion," director Marita Grabiak delivers a festive romantic comedy that taps into the enduring allure of second chances. Starring Rachel Boston as Georgia, the film centers on a woman who, a week before Christmas, learns of her high school reunion. This prospect ignites a fervent desire to rekindle a past romance with the "one that got away." The narrative, however, wisely complicates this straightforward pursuit. As Georgia revisits her alma mater and the ghosts of her past, the plot unfurls with a gentle charm, suggesting that perhaps the true object of affection was not the idealized high school flame, but a more grounded, overlooked friend. Jonathan Bennett and Jon Prescott round out the central cast, offering solid support in this exploration of nostalgia and evolving affections. While perhaps not groundbreaking, the film provides a warm, holiday-appropriate diversion, making it a pleasant watch for those seeking a dose of seasonal sentimentality and romantic contemplation.
